One of the great aspects of fly fishing is that there is always something new to learn, even if you have been fishing for many years. At our December meeting, the goal is to help our members learn something new about the sport we all enjoy.
Join us on Tuesday, December 12th for some hands-on learning. We did this last year and it was a fun evening.
This year, we will have several “Learning Stations” for our members. For example,
do you want to learn more about entomology? We will have a table for that. Are you interested in building a new fly rod or restoring an old bamboo rod? We will have a table for that. Questions about fly tying vises? We will have a table for that. Are you interested in catching salmon and steelhead in NY? We will have a table for that. Have general questions about fly fishing? We will have a table for that.
These are just a few of the tables that we will have at the next meeting. Our “senior” club members will be on hand to share their knowledge on a variety of subjects.
Hope you can join us at 7 p.m. on December 12 at Tuscarora High School, Room A-170.
Annual Elections at the December Meeting
At our next meeting, we will hold our annual elections. If you are interested in running for a position on the Board, please let me know.
