While I know that not every PFFV club member remembers the original Hawaii Five-O, those of us who do will never forget the phrase, “Book Em Danno.” For that matter, we will never forget the theme song. In any case, I wanted to reach out to see if we can get some club outings booked.
As I have mentioned, the outings can take many forms and do not need to be overly formal. It really just depends on what you want to do. Speaking for myself, I enjoy fishing with other people for a number of reasons. Aside from the opportunity to laugh, joke, and lie (about the big one that got away), I enjoy learning from and teaching others. Our goal here is to facilitate opportunities for club members to get out and fish and to get to know and enjoy one another.
We will soon be putting on the calendar information about trips to the following places: the Savage River and Morgan Run in Maryland, Smith Creek in Virginia, and the Salmon River in New York.
If you know that you are going to go fishing on a certain date and would like the company of other members, please let me know (michaeldhollandjr@hotmail.com) and we will get the details posted on the website.
