All are invited to attend a series of presentations highlighting the efforts Maryland Chapter Trout Unlimited (MDTU) and a consortium of partners, from private landowners, individuals, NGOs, and local, state and federal agencies are working on to protect our waterways and native brook trout populations in the Upper Gunpowder Falls Watershed. The series, entitled: Clean, Clear Cold Water – Protecting our Waterways, Bay and Conserving Native Brook Trout, will discuss how land use and management decisions and practices impact the health of our waterways and the plants, animals, and fish that live in and around them. Each presentation will highlight the status of brook trout in Maryland, importance of sound land management practices to ensure clean, clear cold water and conservation efforts and goals of MDTU and its partners. Special guest speakers (MDTU partners)
will join each one of the presentations highlighting the work their organization or agency focuses on specifically in this watershed. Register online and get more info here.
