Beginners Fly Tying Class

The session will be led by Don Fine and the fly pattern chosen for October will be the black winged beetle. Beetles, like other terrestrial insects are still prevalent going into the cooler months of the fall. The steps and materials used for the black winged beetle are an easy pattern for beginning fly tiers to learn to tie and to apply to other insect patterns throughout the year; spring to fall.
