Fishing Creek / Little Fishing Creek Outing

THE WATER: We will fish Fishing and Little Fishing Creeks, near Thurmont, MD. These small streams are fun to fish for native brook trout. They are easy to wade and are good for light rods and Tenkara fishing as well.
TIME AND LOCATION: We will meet at Peter Ring’s shop/office at 9:30 am. It is located at 10910 Putman Road, Thurmont, MD. We will fish until about 2:00pm (but everyone can keep fishing on to their hearts content after the “official” outing ends).
RECOMMENDED FLIES: Elk Hair Caddis, Attractor Dry Flies like Stimulators, Olive & Black Woolly Buggers, nymphs such as – Caddis Pupa, Copper Johns, Pheasant Tails, Hare’s Ears, Midges, and Zebra Midges
