Upper Patuxent River Outing

Outing to the Upper Patuxent. We will meet at 9:30 at the Hipsley Mill Rd crossing.
Attached is a map with the route to the river highlighted in yellow, along with the following directions.
• Take I-70 east to the route-94 (Lisbon/Woodbine) exit. (This exit is about 35 minutes from Frederick.)
• Follow 94 south for about three miles to Florence Road. (Go straight through the traffic circle where 94 intersects with route 144 in Lisbon.)
• Turn left on Florence Road. Then, in about .6 mile, bear right at the stop sign on to Jennings Chapel Road.
• Follow Jennings Chapel Road for about 1.7 miles to Hipsley Mill Road.
• Turn right on Hipsley Mill Road and go about 2 miles to where the road crosses the Patuxent River. (Park in the gravel lot on your left just before crossing the river. If the lot is full, park where you can along the road shoulder and come to the parking lot.)
